So please make sure you are happy with your design prior to your appointment. Christina is very easy to work with and encourages you to communicate your thoughts for your tattoo prior to your appointment.
How much will my tattoo cost?
If you complete the inquiry to the best of your capability and with all the proper information, Christina will likely give you an approximate estimate.
Every artist works differently, and there are many factors that can alter the cost of your tattoo such as tattoo placement, size, intricacy and how well your skin is able to take the ink.
What kind of ink does Christina Quinn Tattoo use?
Christina Quinn Tattoo only uses the highest quality ink purchased from reputable suppliers. She is currently using Dynamic & Eternal Ink . It is a hypoallergenic ink, but does not guarantee that an allergic reaction may not occur.
Why does tattoos fade and bleed over time?
Tattoo inks are a foreign object to your body. Therefore any time you introduce anything foreign to your body, it will eventually start to absorb the ink and start to break it down. It will stay on the skin but will eventually over time fade and lines may not be as crisp.
How deep does the ink penetrate the skin?
When tattooed correctly the ink will go into the hypodermis which is approximately 2mm below the epidermis (the top outermost layer of skin) Sometimes if the ink is not deposited deep enough it will fade right away, and that is when you may require a touch up on your art.
What if I need touch-ups on my tattoo?
Christina takes pride in the quality of her work, to apply each tattoo properly and professionally. However, we understand that sometimes life happens and you may need a quick touch-up on your tattoo.
If your tattoo does not heal as intended or the colour hasn’t set all the way in, you have 6 months (from the day you got tattooed) to book a touch-up appointment with Christina. Free of charge.
If you wait until after the 6 month period to book your touch ups, you will be charged the current hourly rate for touch-ups.
Christina does not do free touch ups on other artists work.
You as the client are responsible for your tattoo once you leave the studio with your proper aftercare instructions. Please refer to the Tattoo Aftercare section on our website to refresh yourself on tattoo aftercare. If needed, text or email the shop if you have any questions!
Every body is different, every persons skin is different. Some react and some don’t. Please wait a minimum of 6 weeks before booking a touch up to ensure all healing has taken place.
If your skin is very tanned, that will make your skin extra dry, and tough therefore harder to tattoo. We recommend if you are a sun lover to wait until Fall, Winter or Spring to get a tattoo.
